First Look: Kyocera Rise: A keyboard phone with a scoop of ICS

0:57 /

For those who love texting, Kyocera introduced its slideout QWERTY keyboard handset, the Kyocera Rise, one day before CTIA 2012.

Hello, everybody. It's Lynn from CNET in New Orleans for CTIA. Giving you guys a quick run down on the Kyocera Rave. The Rave is one of 2 Kyocera handsets that the company is showing during CTIA. It had a 3.5 inch touch screen display and a 3.2 megapixel camera with LED flash. So all you Android lovers out there, the handset also runs on Android Ice Cream Sandwich. Now, it's called the Rave because a full pre-keyboard rises from underneath. As you can see, it has 4 rows of keys and navigation there. We're told that it would be out sometime during the summer although there's no word yet on the pricing or the carrier. Again, Lynn La at CTIA showing you guys the Kyocera Rave.
