Mobile World Congress 2015: Huawei Ascend D Quad

Huawei: Our Ascend D Quad is world's fastest smartphone

It's yet to be determined if quad core phones are as fast as everyone says they are but while we are saying that this phone is the fastest of them all. I'm Jessica (Belcorp?) for CNET here at Mobile World Congress 2012 in Barcelona and this is the Huawei Ascend D Quad. Now this phone has everything you would expect from a premium smartphone. It's got this beautiful 4.5 inch display totally in HD, running Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich. So that is the latest version of the Android operation system and it's pretty plain vanilla Android. Also has an 8 megapixel camera on the back that does 10 ADP HD recording and playback. It's got a 1.3 megapixel camera on the front and it does have the quad core processor from Huawei. So not sure about pricing or availability yet but this is one phone I definitely want to see coming to the US where Huawei does not yet have a household name. I'm Jessica (Belcorp?) for CNET. You can check all of our phone coverage for Mobile World Congress at cnet.com
