When Netflix announced tat its DVD by mail would henceforth be known as Quickster, someone forgot to check if the Twitter handle was available. Well, it turns out that it's not and the owner of at Quickster is just as much of a character as you would find in the DVD movie. Up until the announcement, the man just a few dozen followers and many of his status updates contain references to pot smoking. Well, he since wised up and now wants to "be making banks selling his twitter handle." Unfortunately, Twitter's term of service don't allow such sales unless expressly agreed to by twitter. A pair of researchers planned to detail an attack called BEAST that can undermine the widely encryption technology. They are planning on demonstrating the attack later this week in a security conference and according to them, BEAST can decrypt cookies from pay pal in about 10 minutes.
