Asus ROG Phone 2 has the first 120Hz OLED screen
Meet the ASUS ROG PHONE 2 its standard feature is 120 hertz OLED display, the first ever on a phone.
That means the display refreshes 120 times a second to provide CRISPR text And smooth animations and gaming.
Last year's original Rog phone had a 90 hertz display.
And most phones have a 60 hertz screen.
By the way the footage we are looking at here is of the Rog phone two ultimate Edition it has a matte black finish and comes with one terabyte of storage.
That's more than most people's computers, the ram phone to has a Snapdragon 855 plus processor which is basically a souped up version of Qualcomm's high end chip that features 15% faster graphics and the CPU clock speed of up to 2.96 gigahertz.
For comparison, the regular Snapdragon 855 Maxes out at 2.84 gigahertz.
Like the original rock phone there's a second USP sea port on the side which makes charging the phone while gaming in landscape more ergonomic.
It also lets you use accessories like the arrow active cooler too which is a detachable fan that helps keep the phone comfortable to hold during long sessions of gameplay.
The ASUS ROG Phone II packs a 6,000 milliamp hour battery.
That's enormous.
But certainly it will be taxed during gameplay.
For perspective the Galaxy Note 10 Plus has a 4,300 milliamp hour battery.
The phone also comes with updated air triggers, which uses capacitive touch On the sides of the phone to let you program a shoulder buttons for game play.
The ROG Phone 2 features onscreen controls with ultra-low latency, meaning the time from when you tap the screen until the action is triggered is nearly instantaneous.
ASUS claims its screen latency is 44% faster than competitors like the iPhone 10s Max.
And the Galaxy S10 Plus.
And at 6.59 inches, the ROG Phone 2 screen is larger than the 6-inch one found on the original phone.
ASUS has a deep bench of accessories for the ROG Phone 2, including the twin TwinView Dock 2 that supports a second screen for gameplay and controls.
There's also the Rog Kanye gamepad that adds Nintendo Switch joy Khan like controllers to your phone, which basically turns the whole thing into a mobile console experience.
Currently, the rock phone two is available in Europe for 899 euros.
But so far there's no word on when a US version will launch or for how much we look forward to testing the phone when we get our hands on one.
