Toyota FT-1 concept car could preview next Supra
Toyota unveiled its FT-1 concept car at the 2014 Detroit auto show, marking a sea change in its styling.
For the 2014 SEMA show, Toyota released a gray version of its FT-1 sports car concept.
The car originally debuted at the 2014 Detroit Auto Show painted red.
The "FT" stands for Future Toyota.
When it debuted in Detroit, Toyota called the FT-1 the "spiritual pace car" to future designs.
The SEMA car also received a Saddle leather interior.

When the concept originally debut, no drivetrain details were giving.
The concept's design does seems to draw styling inspiration from the Celica and Supra.
The concept rides on 21-inch wheels.
Large air intakes grace the front and sides of the FT-1, the former to feed the engine and the latter to cool the brakes. Likewise, a rear diffuser and automatic spoiler lend to aerodynamic force to handling.
