The Urban eTruck is your all-electric truck of the future
With 125 miles of range and a max weight of about 57,000 pounds, the Urban eTruck would be perfect for intra-city hauling.
I don't know why Daimler camouflaged this truck -- it's not like I can't tell what it is.
Either way, this is Daimler's new Urban eTruck, an all-electric intra-city hauler.
Its lithium ion batteries are hidden inside the frame for better crash protection.
There's no word on battery capacity, but it's bound to be yuge.
But since it's a big, heavy truck, it'll only get about 125 miles on a single charge.
That's enough for a day's worth of urban deliveries, though.
It's got a charging port, just like your Nissan Leaf.
The Urban eTruck is powerful enough to have a gross weight rating of about 57,000 pounds.
I can't imagine it taking less than several hours to bring this up to a full charge.
It's not ready for prime time just yet, but it's obviously pretty darn close.
