Mini Clubman All4 adds AWD safety to comfort (pictures)
Since the new Clubman debuted late last year, there's no need to change anything here. All that's new is the inclusion of two additional driven wheels.
Mini launched the new US-spec Clubman at the 2015 Los Angeles Auto Show.
While it was only available in front-wheel drive, that now changes with the addition of a front-biased AWD system.
Mini claims the AWD system can shift power from the front wheels to the rear in just 0.25 second.
That should be more than enough time to save you from flying into a snowbank -- ideally.
Otherwise, the song remains the same with the Clubman.
The Clubman is marketed as Mini's most luxurious vehicle.
The standard Clubman comes with a 1.5-liter, turbocharged three-cylinder engine.
If you want a bit more power, you can step up to the Cooper S Clubman, which packs a 2.0-liter, four-cylinder engine.
Mini did not mention pricing or availability.
