2021 Porsche 718 Cayman T is a sports car delight

The 2021 Porsche 718 Cayman T is based on the entry-level Cayman model and powered by a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine. 

A six-speed manual comes standard on the Cayman T, while a seven-speed dual-clutch gearbox is available as an option.

The engine produces 300 horsepower and 280 pound-feet of torque.

When paired with the manual transmission, Porsche says the Cayman T can sprint to 60 mph in 4.9 seconds. With the available dual-clutch gearbox it hits 60 in 4.5 seconds. 

Handling improvements for the Cayman T over the base vehicle come courtesy of a standard sport suspension, limited-slip differential and Sport Chrono package.

The Cayman T rides on 20-inch wheels wrapped with Pirelli P Zero tires.

Visually, the Cayman T sets itself apart from the base Cayman with the larger Carrera S wheels, gray mirror caps and black exhaust tips. 

On the inside, the Cayman T features a smaller diameter steering wheel, nylon door pulls and Sport-Tex seat inserts.

Handling infotainment inside of the Cayman T is the Porsche Communications Management system, with a 7-inch touchscreen.

The 2021 Porsche Cayman T starts at $70,250, which includes $1,350 for destination.
