2018 Porsche 911 Carrera GTS: The just-right 911
The pleasing middle ground in the 911 lineup between the base Carrera and GT models.
The 3.0-liter inline six-cylinder engine in the 911 Carrera GTS gets bigger turbos for more boost compared to the Carrera S.
With 450 horsepower and 405 pound-feet of torque, the GTS packs an additional 30 ponies and 37 pound-feet over the Carrera S.
Visually, the GTS receives a more aggressive front fascia, side mirrors, wider rear body and black badges to set itself apart from the Carrera S.
Center-lock wheels from the Turbo S are also standard on the 911 Carrera GTS.
When equipped with the dual-clutch transmission, the GTS hits 60 mph in 3.5 seconds.
The Porsche 911 Carrera GTS can hit a top speed of 192 mph.
Inside, the GTS receives an Alcantara sport steering wheel, shifter and black aluminum trim.
Standard infotainment features include a 7-inch touchscreen, navigation, satellite radio, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi capabilities and Apple CarPlay.
Sadly, Android Auto isn't available in the 911 Carrera GTS.
