2017 Acura NSX: When high-tech breeds high-performance

The NSX turns plenty of heads with its Nouvelle Blue Pearl paint job.

A 3.5-liter twin-turbocharged V6 sits in the middle of the NSX making 500 horsepower and 406 pound-feet of torque.

Peak boost pressure for the engine is 15.2 psi. 

Add in the NSX's three electric motors and the NSX features a net drivetrain system output of 573 horsepower and 476 pound feet of torque. 

Bolting to the twin-turbo V6 hybrid is a nine-speed dual-clutch gearbox.

According to the EPA, the NSX returns 21 mpg in the city and 22 mpg on the highway. 

With enough pavement, the NSX is capable of reaching a top speed of 191 mph. 

For tight handling on race tracks and on the street, the NSX gets adaptive magnetorheological dampers.

Carbon ceramic brakes are available as a $10,600 option featuring six-piston front and four-piston rear Brembo calipers. 

The 2017 Acura NSX carries a base price of $157,800, which includes $1,800 for destination charges.
