From a "will you look at that!" perspective, the most impressive specification of the LB6300 is the combination of the new smart TV platform and the upgraded Magic Motion remote. The LG will feature the company's new WebOS smart TV platform which promises quick switching between streaming apps and cable. This is coupled with a new remote which now includes a much-needed Input button.

As far as other features are concerned it lacks any form of local dimming or even 3D playback. It does include 120Hz motion compensation and a number of new sound connectivity options. These include Bluetooth (to a sound bar) and Private Sound Mode which enables you to listen to the TV via a smartphone.

LG has yet to announce pricing or availability of the LB6300.
