BERLIN -- Gigaset is the latest company to wade into the world of smartphones. Click through for up-close snaps with the firm's Me series of mobiles.

There are three versions of the Me -- this is the standard option. It has a 16-megapixel rear camera, and Gigaset says the camera features a very fast autofocus.
That's a 5-inch, 1080p display. The Me will cost 469 euros (directly converted, roughly £345, $530 or AU$750) when it goes on sale in Europe and China this autumn, with US and Australian launches yet to be announced.
This is the Me Pure, a cheaper version of the phone.
The Pure has the same size screen, but a less powerful processor, and 2GB of RAM rather than 3GB.
It still has the fingerprint sensor common to all three Me phones, however.
You can use that sensor to unlock the phone, take calls or take selfies. It will cost 349 euros (around £250, $390 or AU$560).
This is the Me Pro, a larger version of the Me. It has a 5.5-inch display.
The Pro has a 20-megapixel camera on the back.
The high-end Me Pro will set you back 549 euros (about £400, $620 or AU$880).
