An IPS monitor with 3D?!
While the vast majority of 3D monitors have elected to use Twisted Nematic (TN) panels, the Asus VG23AH puts all its eggs into In-Plane Switching technology.
Tilt and height adjustment
The Asus VG23AH offers tilt, height adjustment, and (not demonstrated here) swivel.
Cable organization
Cable routers are one of those little appreciated extras you don't realize you need until you're attempting to shoot a video and the producer is yelling at you about how messy the cables look.
Wobblty wobble
The foot stand is wide, but boy does the monitor still wobble.
Sigh...
Don't get me wrong, the OSD options are pretty robust, but the interface...no. Just, no.
Two HDMI ports
From left to right: HDMI 1, HDMI 2, DVI, and VGA. The black audio input is for headphones and the green for speakers.
Glasses and clip-ons
Up top are a pair of passive 3D glasses. While they easily fit over my own glasses, that might not be the case for everyone. In that case, Asus generously includes a pair of clip-ons for your glasses.
In action
You'll be the coolest-looking 3D nerd on your block with these.
