Subaru's current WRX model is based on an older platform, and the enthusiast world has been holding its breath waiting for the replacement. At the 2013 New York International Auto Show, Subaru showed off a concept for the next-generation WRX.
NEW YORK--The Subaru WRX concept was warmly received at the 2013 New York auto show, giving a welcome look into the future of a very anticipated car. The concept shown by Subaru looks like it could hit the road today, although the LED headlights probably won't make it to production.
Subaru released no specifications for drivetrain or cabin electronics, but following previous models, it would likely have a turbocharged boxer-style engine and all-wheel drive. Enjoy these photos of the Subaru WRX concept.
