SpellTower mixes Boggle with Bejeweled (pictures)
We take a look at this unique word-puzzle game available on iOS and now on Android.
Different modes
SpellTower comes with four different modes and a multiplayer option.
Tower of tiles
In Tower Mode, the challenge is to find as many high-scoring words as possible. Since tiles aren't replenished, it might be a good idea to sit and think over your options to be sure that you're making all the right moves.
Don't hit the ceiling
In both of the Puzzle modes and Rush Mode, the idea is to keep your tiles from hitting the top of the board.
Nighttime
Turn on Night Colors to see the game with a dark theme.
No moves left
When you can no longer make any words with the letters you have left, hit "done" to end your game and see your high score.
Multiplayer
Find a friend, link up via Wi-Fi, and challenge each other. The pace of the multiplayer Debate Mode is very similar to that of the old-school head-to-head battles on Tetris for Game Boy.
Stats
SpellTower keeps track of your highest game score and all-time best highest scoring word.
