Samsung Galaxy Admire 2 riffs off the Galaxy S3

That's no typo: the Samsung Galaxy Admire 2 for Cricket Wireless looks like a thicker, more compact version of the Galaxy S3. Which is to say that it's an attractive, glossy smartphone with some reliable Android smarts.

Screen gleam

The 4-inch display isn't bright and populated by enough pixels to satisfy the eye. Android 4.1 isn't the most up-to-date, but brings with it Google Now, panorama photos, and other tricks.

High gloss

With the same slippery, shiny finish, and brushed-metal aesthetic, the all-plastic Admire 2 is easy on the hand and the pocket. Its girth, however, might deter you if your pockets are snug.
