Samsung's second stab at the Galaxy Tab
Samsung's Galaxy Tab 2 7.0 is the smaller version of the Galaxy Tab 2 series, which also includes the Tab 2 10.1. You can pick one up April 22 for $249.99.
Deliberate step-down
The main thing you need to know about the Tab 2 7.0 is that it's deliberately more, shall we say, humble, than the 7.0 Tab Plus. For instance, there's a 1GHz processor rather than a 1.2GHz processor.
Cheaper price tag
There's a reason for the stepped-down specs, and one of the reasons is the $250 price tag, which competes with the $200 Kindle Fire.
MicroSD goodness
Different than its predecessor Tab, there's now a microSD card slot that takes up to 32GB of memory.
Right spine
Wonder what the power and volume buttons look like? Here ya go.
