Make your Moto
After you enter your security code and log on to the Moto Maker site, you can begin the custom build process.
The sexiest options are on back
Most of the color options for the Moto X live on the back plate. Unfortunately you can only select textures and patterns for the neutral color choices.
Add your accents
There are seven accent hues to choose from, which appear on the Moto X's side buttons and main camera lens.
Up the memory
You can add an additional 16GB of internal storage to the Moto X's standard allotment of 16GB.
Your very own splash screen
Can't get into the standard phone splash screen? Perhaps making a personal one tailored to you is what you seek.
Wallpapers that play it safe
Sadly the selection of wallpapers Moto Maker offers are not too exciting. You'll probably just want to find your own elsewhere.
Link to Google from the factory
If you so desire, you can have Motorola prelink your Moto X to your Google account from the factory.
Extras for the taking
Accessories for the Moto X include wall chargers (available in white or black), along with headphones, speakers, and cases.
Confirm your creation
Once you've tweaked your future Moto X to your heart's content, see that everything looks copacetic.
Some add-ons cost more
Premium add-ons such as headphones, speakers, and cases cost extra. The same goes for Motorola's extended warranties.
Protect your masterpiece
Back up your personal Moto X with the Motocare extended warranty. It covers accidental damage for two years but costs an extra $85.
