Lanchiya's out-of-this world iPhone/iPad speakers (photos)
Lanchiya, a China-based digital audio products company, makes some pretty far-out speakers for iPhones and iPads. Check them out in CNET's hands-on photos.
Crystal1
The Crystal1 looks like something out of the future. It features a LED table lamp, a pyramid-shaped speaker, and touch controls. A small tray ejects from the right side of the device, so you can dock your iPhone or iPod. By the way, Lanchiya will be coming out with Bluetooth-enabled models of all of their speakers, so you'll be able to use other devices, such as Android smartphones, with its products.
Crystal2
Is that a UFO? Nah, it's just the Crystal2. This speaker system is very similar to the Crystal and also has the option of lighting up in different colors.
BIP
The BIP has two orbs that flank the iPod/iPhone dock and features a touch-control user interface and remote control.
Aladdin
Functional and funky, the Aladdin works as a table lamp, a speaker system, and a charging station for your iPhone/iPod.
X-1
The X-1 is surely to be a conversation starter at parties. The shape of the speaker system is designed to deliver 360 degrees of sound.
A3IP
The A31P looks like the Pac-Man ghosts, only happier. It has a stereo 2.1-channel system and also features an aux input for MP3 players, laptops, and other devices.
iNinja
Have you seen the iPig? Well, Lanchiya is the company behind it, and now, there's another pig model and it's a killer. Meet the iNinja.
A7D
Lanchiya also has a line of speakers called the F3, which stands for Fun Fantastic Fabulous. The A7D is one of the models in the collection and has flower speakers sprouting out of an apple.
KT1
Hello Kitty lovers, the KT1 is for you. There is also a KT1W model that's compatible with Sony's Walkman MP3 players.
Van Gogh1
A speaker system for your iPad? You bet. The Van Gogh1 offers a 90-degree pivot design so you can dock your iPad in the portrait or landscape position.
Company mission
Lanchiya owner Moran Li (left) with Yi Lu (right) says the mission of the company is to offer high-quality and great-sounding speakers without the expensive price tag. All of the company's speakers cost between $100 to $200.
