Using a Web interface is the best, most common way to set up and manage a home router, or a home network, for that matter. Here, a collection of common routers' Web interfaces and their default IP addresses and log-in information.
Asus' current Web interface for its routers, including the RT-AC66U, RT-N66U, and RT-N56U.
Netgear's traditional Web interface for most of its routers released in 2011 and earlier. Starting in 2012, the routers come with a new interface called Netgear Genie, which shares the same default IP address, 192.168.0.1, and the same username/password information, which is admin/password.
