The only way to prove that you're the coolest and most stylish person walking the streets is to adorn every part of your person with gold.
To help your noble cause, Beats has slapped a shiny new gold coat onto its latest Studio Wireless headphones and Pill mini Bluetooth speaker.
Both the headphones and the speaker remain physically the same as their less-shiny counterparts, it's just the colour that's changed.
They'll be available in the UK, exclusively in Selfridges, toward the end of the year. At the time of writing, Beats wasn't able to confirm wider availability.
It also wasn't able to confirm the price. The headphones and speaker will only be sold as a set so you can expect to pay something north of £410, given the £330 and £90 price tags of the existing headphones and speaker, respectively.
The gold isn't real, thankfully. It's just a paint job, so it shouldn't push the price into the thousands.
Other than the shiny new colour scheme, the headphones remain physically unchanged.
CNET editor David Carnoy cast his eyes -- or rather, his ears -- over the regular Studio Wireless headphones and gave them an excellent four star review, stating the "Beats Studio Wireless is a very comfortable over-the-ear wireless headphone that offers excellent sound."
All parts of the Studio Wireless cans are coated in the gold colour, including the headband. I found it made the headphones something of a fingerprint magnet, so you'll want to give them a polish before heading somewhere where you want to show them off.
The Beats Pill mini Bluetooth speaker has been given the same treatment. It would be perfect to take on a picnic, alongside your gold cutlery and gold scotch egg.
The speaker remains physically unchanged as well -- it's really all about the colour. Whether a gold mini speaker will match the rest of the decorations in your living room or bedroom will really depend on your furnishings.
Pair the gold Studio Wireless headphones with the 24-karat gold HTC One, a $1m gold bike, a $1.5m gold Godzilla statue, and a gold-plated Xbox One. You'll be the most popular kid on the block. The block that you own. Because you have all the gold.
