Back to school: The best smartphones and mobile accessories
With so many tech tools to use (and/or procrastinate with) in the classroom, CNET rounds up some of the best accessories that give your gadgets some back-to-school style.
Logitech Ultrathin Keyboard
Though it leaves your iPad's rear end a little vulnerable, the Ultrathin Cover from Logitech is comfortable to use, and it's at the top of its class as far as keyboard accessories for the iPad goes. No wonder we gave it an Editors' Choice.
Samsung S View for Galaxy S4
Belkin Ultimate Keyboard Case
Yes, it's another iPad keyboard case, but we especially dig the Ultimate Keyboard case from Belkin because it's slim, offers total protection, and it automatically turns on when opened and docked.
Mophie Juice Pack
We get it, you're busy. You've got class all the way until 5, then there's that club meeting afterward, and then there's a rehearsal for that other thing. Though you're not sure if you can last through the day, you can at least get a battery pack to make sure your phone does. Mophie's Juice pack for the iPhone (and HTC One!) gives you that little extra charge so you can ignore that call from your mother.
Ergotech VersaStand for iPad
While it might look like something coming out of your science (fiction) class, the portable and collapsible VersaStand enables you to mount your iPad on a desk. Good thing too, because it got pretty tiring leaning against your desk lamp.
Lifeproof Fre for iPhone 5
Parties and phones are never a good mix. One, embarrassing photos can emerge the day after. Two, you texted what to who?! Third, beverages. So many beverages. Though Lifeproof advertises its Fre as a waterproof iPhone case for those with "active lifestyles," you can also use it if you have an "active social lifestyle" too. And once you do, let me know how it works, because I have neither.
