Easy on the hands

The Fire HD 10 is pleasant to hold despite its large size. It has rounded edges and corners that comfortably fit in your palms.

Glossy plastic back

The tablet is made of plastic and features a shiny back panel. It feels silky smooth on your fingertips.

Button-filled edge

The volume rocker, power button, Micro-USB port and headphone jack are all located on the same edge.

Rear camera

The 5-megapixel rear camera takes underwhelming, dull photos.

Smudge-prone design

The plastic back easily attracts smudges and fingertips. They're especially notable on the black model.

Bigger, but not better

Though it's almost identical to the 8-inch model, the smaller tablet benefits from its sharper screen. Despite this, the Fire HD 10 is still the biggest, cheapest way to take full advantage of Amazon's big media library.
