HP's Multi Jet Fusion 3D printing technology won't arrive until next year at the very earliest, but a few sample printed products were displayed at a New York event. This dinosaur skull was pretty awesome.
Multi-jet fusion uses fused nylon as its printing material. In the future, HP is open to using other materials. Cute elephants.
Parts can be printed: seen here, an actual part for a 3D printer. Printers printing themselves.
Multiple colors can be printed at once. This is a nested set of gears that spin in a hypnotizing way.
A nautilus shell? A gear? Maybe both.
Multi-jet fusion can print quickly, and with fine detail: down to 20 microns. This is a cute sleigh.
One more look at that dinosaur skull.
A 3D-printed nylon chain.
Several gears side by side.
An artist's 3D-printed sculpture, with impressive detail.
Folded star.
Mysterious pottery.
Moving parts can be printed: this center iris can be opened and shut by moving the outer edges.
