2018 Subaru BRZ tS: Upgraded for the track
The latest performance iteration of the well-handling coupe is high on grip, but still low on torque.
If you've wanted a grippier BRZ, say hello to the tS, the be-winged special edition for 2018.
In addition to the adjustable carbon fiber-wing, the tS also gets underbody spoilers all the way around.
The Brembo brakes from the Performance Package are standard on the BRZ tS, along with 18-inch wheels.
Sachs dampers from the Performance Package are also standard, but they are tuned for less body roll.
The chassis is stiffer as well, thanks to additional bracing under the hood.
Unfortunately, the tS doesn't get any power upgrades. The 2.0-liter engine pumps out 205 horsepower and a miserable 156 pound-feet of torque.
The BRZ tS is only offered with a six-speed manual transmission, as God intended.
Driver's aids are pretty minimal. There is no blind-spot monitoring or lane-keeping assist, but cruise control is standard.
The interior of the tS gets some visual oomph from red trim and contrast stitching.
The 2018 Subaru BRZ tS starts at $33,495. Keep scrolling for more photos of this upgraded sports coupe.
