Finally, an iPhone case that's also a bottle opener!

Not all bottles offer the courtesy of twist-off caps. (Thanks for nothing, Sam Adams Oktoberfest!) The iBottleopener protects your phone and opens your beer.

What, you mean your case only protects your iPhone from drops? Mine can open beers!
What, you mean your case only protects your iPhone from drops? Mine can open beers! Lightbulb Moments

Forget iPhone cases that recharge your battery, support your favorite team, transform into a keyboard, or survive mortar attacks. I want one that can open my beer.

And that's the iBottleopener in a nutshell: it's an iPhone case with a built-in bottle opener. Check it out in the video down below.

The hard-shell case consists of two parts, meaning it slides over your iPhone and locks together. It has cutouts in all the right places so you can access your buttons, headphone jack, etc. The opener is, well, a bottle opener.

I have to say, I don't drink more than the occasional beer, and most of those have twist-off caps--but I so want one of these. It's a great conversation piece, and it gives your iPhone the kind of real-world functionality that no app can.

Of course, in an ideal world, they'd combine this with the bottle opener that plays the Michigan State fight song (go Green!) or says, "Mmmm, beer."

Even so, this is a must-have accessory for frat boys, tailgaters, bartenders, and my winter-camping buddies (I'm looking at you, James, Craig, Pat, Doug, and Dan).

The iBottleopener costs $19.95. It's available now for the iPhone 3G and 3GS and soon for the iPhone 4. Beer not included.
