Pros Widescreen, Nice keyboard, nice exterior cover, speakers are decent, Comes with to much unusable crap on the desktop when you buy it.

Cons Only 1 gb of memory. To little even for back when I bought it. It was a slow running laptop from the start.

Summary If you buy this from someone, take it directly somewhere and add more memory

Pros I've had this laptop for a few years now. It's always on and (knock on wood) has run beautifully. It is hooked up to an external display for dual, a full 4-port USB hub, and two external hard drives, and upgraded RAM. Fabulous product!

Cons Upgraded to Windows 7 and the camera doesn't work anymore. Other than that, no cons.

Summary The backlight went out a few months after I bought the product, but Toshiba quickly sent me a box, repaired it and it's been great ever since. The last laptop I owned was an HP and it was pure junk. Toshiba has my loyalty from this point forward. I did several weeks (months) of research before buying this laptop and I'm very happy I did. Money very well spent.

Pros Works well for every type of application, even runs some resource intensive games well, despite the graphics card. Have the memory upgraded to 4GB and is blazing, great computer

Pros had one problem that it turned off at various times while i was using it.i had a warranty and sent it in and got it back within a week and it works fine now. don't know what they did to it because the paper work was blank.

Cons the fan makes noise at times and it tends to heat up pretty fast.i use it on a cool lift i got on amazon for $6 and it allows to air to flow

Summary don't know if i would pay $1,000 for this,i got it for $578 at a black friday sale,it was the display model and the last one left,but it's a decent laptop.i recommend it
