Day 1 of the Consumer Electronics Show has begun, and we're broadcasting another live show straight from the South Hall of the Las Vegas Convention Center. We'll begin by wrapping up yesterday's press conferences with a lukewarm announcement from Panasonic and Justin Timberlake, then throw it over to our guest of the day, Kevin Pereira from G4's Attack of the Show!

LAS VEGAS--Day 1 of the Consumer Electronics Show has begun, and we're broadcasting another live show straight from the South Hall of the Las Vegas Convention Center.

We'll begin by wrapping up yesterday's press conferences with a lukewarm announcement from Panasonic and Justin Timberlake, then throw it over to our guest of the day, Kevin Pereira from G4's Attack of the Show!

But first we have to make fun of Panasonic's lukewarm announcement with Justin Timblerlake about MySpace TV. The idea of social networking isn't new, and Panasonic was hazy on the details, but basically it allows couch potatoes to share what they're watching, assuming it's something you want to share with the world.

Next we'll talk about some of the tech we're excited about at this year's show and why CNET laptop editor Scott Stein thinks you should keep your wallet closed until this summer.

We'll also spout about Apple's Thunderbolt I/O port and the new hard drives we're finally seeing that come close to Apple's claims of 10Gpbs.

After a quick break, we'll bring Kevin Pereira from G4's Attack of the Show onstage to tell us about the gadgets he's most excited about this year.

Kevin's a big audiophile, so he'll appreciate today's Tech Confession and Tech Resolutions segments, and he'll join us again in the third period of today's episode during which we'll play a game of Blind Texting with a couple of volunteers.

Be sure to follow Kevin's exploits around CES 2012 on his Twitter page, and tune in to our show every day this week at 1 p.m. ET by clicking here!

Finally, today's Too Busy to Tweet #2B2T of the day is: LL, dedicated to LL Cool J's sing-a-long session with Brian Tong following our show. Follow us on Twitter and RT it!
