If you collect MP3s from disparate sources, your ID3 tags are probably in shambles. Ideally, an ID3 tag would include information about the song, artist, album, year, and genre. Some of your tracks may have just the artist labeled, others only the song title, while still others may have all of the information you need. If you want to keep your music collection organized, editing the ID3 tags is essential. The instructions below will get you started editing those tags.

Follow these simple steps If you prefer Musicmatch Jukebox Open Musicmatch Jukebox
Open Musicmatch Jukebox. If the Music Library window isn't open, click View and select My Library to open it.
Find the song you want to edit Find the song you want to edit in the Music Library, and right-click it. If it's not there, drag the MP3 file into the Music Library. Then select Edit > Edit Track Info.
Musimatch also has a Super Tagging feature that can look up tag info and fill in the data, though it doesn't work for all tracks. Add, remove, or edit information Add, remove, or edit any information in the ID3 tags. Click OK when you're finished.
A tabbed window will let you fill in a plethora of information, even lyrics. If you prefer iTunes Select the song you want to edit Select a song or group of songs you want to edit. Then go to the File menu and select Get Info. PC users can right-click the song to select Get Info.
We used the Windows version of iTunes to edit this song. Add, remove, or edit information Add, remove, or edit any information in the ID3 tags. Click OK when you're finished.
