Zuckerberg speaks, Google to buy Lytro

In his first public statement since news came out of Cambridge Analytica controversy, Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg has admitted mistakes were made involving the misuse of data related to 50 million user accounts. Zuckerberg says he is working to understand what happened and wants to make sure this doesn't happen again. According to TechCrunch, Google is planning to acquire Lytro, the company behind the original light-field camera, which allowed users to shoot first and focus later If the rumors are true, the sale will go for roughly 25 to 40 million and sees Google acquiring the 59 light field and imaging patents Lytro holds. Finally, according to the Wall Street Journal, Apple Music's Jimmy Iovine will start scaling back his involvement with Apple Music transitioning from daily operations to more of a consulting role in August.
