British phone maker Wileyfox has come up with some new products.
This is the new smartphone, it's the Spark.
Comes in some other bearings as well, but this is the core one.
Andy, why don't you run us through the specs of the Spark.
Cool, what we got is five inch display, 720p resolution, 1.3 gigahertz quad-core.
Processor.
It runs [UNKNOWN], which is a very of Android which is a lot more personalizable.
We've got an eight megapixel camera up front and back.
You may have noticed, Luke, you may have noticed in particular, these aren't the highest end specs available on a phone.
But of course this phone does come with a much, much lower price than many phones around.
This is gonna be about only 90 pounds in the UK.
That is really cheap.
Very cheap, yeah.
These are the variance that you mentioned with the Spark Plus which has got a little bit more storage, and the Spark X which has got a slightly bigger screen and the higher resolution camera.
And the Spark X is going to come in at 130 pounds.
So quite a bit more money, but you do get more specs.
What do you think of the phone itself?
I think it's okay.
I mean, you're absolutely right, it's very mid range, it's not going to set the world on fire.
It doesn't really have any new features that it's bringing to the table that you won't get elsewhere.
But what it does have is the low price.
That's kind of been the story of smartphones for the last year, right?
Yeah.
They're getting cheaper and cheaper and more capable.
I'm sure my first impressions are that it would be Straight down the line basic capable smart phone that not much money.
Yeah, we want to do a little bit of Tweeting, a little bit of Instagramming, then this sort of thing is absolutely fine.
If you spend most of your life in WhatsApp than perfect.
If you want to play a lot of hardcore games, if you really want to get into taking some glorious photos on your phone, that's when you need to start paying more money for phones like the iPhone or GalaxyX.
For much more on the Spark, stay tuned.
