So if you're searching through your freezer trying to figure out what frozen meal you want to make for dinner tonight.
Whirlpool has a really smart solution.
There new scan to cook feature available in there upcoming app, that will launch int he summer along with their new line of connective microwaves and ovens, where you literally take a frozen meal out of the freezer Put it up to the app, scan the bar code, and then that information will go straight to your connected microwave or oven, and give it the instructions you need to cook the food you want.
So, I know that frozen food isn't that complex of a thing, but if you're really busy, if you had a late busy day at work and you just don't wanna think about it at all.
I think this could be a potentially really smart solution.
You don't have to do any guess work.
Especially with those multistep frozen meals where you have to take something out, stir it, stick it back in, change the settings on the microwave or reduce the heat in your oven to something else.
All of that will be taken care of, in theory, with Whirlpool's new scan-to-cook feature.
