What's free on Xbox and PlayStation: April 2015
Hey everyone, I'm Jeff Bakalar.
I hope you're doing very well.
It's April, so that means there's a bunch of new, and, most importantly, very free stuff available, through the Playstation Plus, and XBOX Live's games with gold subscription services.
This month, on Playstation Plus, is Tower of Guns on Playstation 4 and Playstation 3.
Which is a game about a tower of guns.
If you are a first person fan, you're going to love this because it's challenging, and it's got a bunch of varied game play, so go grab that.
Next on the free list is Never Alone, it is free for all of April as well.
It is a beautiful puzzle adventure set in the wilderness.
Playstation 3 owners will get Dishonored, which is critically acclaimed first person Steampunk stealth slash shooter from Arkane Studios.
I was a big fan of that game.
The rest of the list is rounded out with Aaru's Awakening for PS3 and PS4.
Killzone Mercenary on Vita.
And Monsterbag on Vita as well.
I have no idea what a monsterbag is but I want one.
Okay let's switch gears to Xbox Live's games with Gold membership.
Microsoft has been splitting up the month for free game releases so let's dive right in.
For all of April, the entire month, Xbox live Gold members will be able to download Pool Nation FX, and Child of Light, for free.
For the first half of April, Xbox 360 players will have access to the third person shooter Gears of War Judgement, and the action adventure Sandbox game, Terreria.
Then, starting on April 16th, gold members can download my favorite game in the Assassin's Creed series, that's Assassin's Creed IV Black Flag, as well as Army of Two Devil's Cartel, which I've never played but I've only heard pretty terrible things about.
All right, so that does it, these are your free games for April.
Finally, just a small caveat.
You do, of course, need to be a member of Playstation Plus, and, or XBox Live Gold to access these quote unquote free games, and those memberships, they cost money, but let's be honest, they're totally worth it.
That's it for me this month.
I'll see you back here in May.
