Wellograph's sleek new Sapphire Wellness Watch sparkles with style at CES 2014

Hi, guys. This is Brian Bennett for CNET. And we're at CES 2014, taking a look at some of the new wearable tech devices that are pretty much exploding the whole show. Right now, we're taking a look at a new device called the Wellograph-- made by the same name company, Wellograph. And as you can see, it has a very elegant look. It has a quartz surface for the front display. So, on the back of the Wellograph, you'll see a heart rate monitor that uses a similar LED sensor that you'll see on other devices, like the Basis Band and competing products like that. So, what this can do is it tracks your steps like a typical pedometer, but also will measure your calories burned by your age, weight, and other criteria. It also store about four months of data on the watch. So, it will sync wirelessly over Bluetooth to iPhones. And in the future, there is support plan for an Android app. So, I don't really think that's-- interesting about the wellness fitness watch is that it comes in two different types and bands. You have a leather brown strap here, and also a black Nato wristband. So, this device doesn't run cheap. The Wellograph is expected to cost $329, and should be available by the April time frame.
