We got a world exclusive first look at the Lamborghini SC18 Alston

[BLANK_AUDIO] Welcome to the supercar paddock at Goodwood Festival of Speed 2019. And we have something of an exclusive because we're the only ones who are gonna get to a video with this. This is the Lamborghini SC18 [UNKNOWN] and let's deal with the name first, [UNKNOWN] 18, the year that it was produced [UNKNOWN] created Alston. Now, we don't know anything about the owner of this car but we do know that his son is called Alston, so he's named the car after his son, which is probably nice, isn't it? I'll be very [UNKNOWN] so what is this car What have they changed about it? Well, it's all developed with the race teams [UNKNOWN] so the designers at Lamborghini. Starting it fun down here. Bigger, front switch down here. These intakes which over break cooling down here. These amazing [INAUDIBLE] tiny [INAUDIBLE] you can see from the race car. Moving up over here we obviously got the S duct at the front, 63, by the way, obviously, 1963, year the Lamborghini came into existence. These, you'll recognize from the [UNKNOWN] car into these vents, obviously, venting off the back of the arches here. Back down over there to the all carbon fiber body work, roof scoop up here. [UNKNOWN] in it. And then a lot of the way it really beat down around the rear deck here, this just one piece that can be taken off. Underneath there, we got the engine essentially from the [UNKNOWN] based on the chassis, it's [UNKNOWN] as well it's very slightly low to the ground. But essentially, [UNKNOWN] there about, but power, So they changed the intake, changed the head. And it's now to about 800 brake horsepower. Obviously, huge rear wing. If you look at the back here, it says, I'm not gonna pronounce it but basically it says made in Sant'agata which is rather nice. That engine Engine, then comes out through the exhaust at the back, which is a full titanium exhaust. And the covers that are in there as well, which especially with this car, we'll say worth saying the rear diffuser on this car is [UNKNOWN] something that we'll probably see a bit more on future Lamborghinis. Trying to go quite a long way forward. It's usually difficult to get a diffuser tunnel going forwards on a mid-engine car because. Because obviously the blue line is your running engine. Obvious reasons anyway. Special much more than the teacher. We also got the lights here from me. Some scenarios as various bits from the engine I have seen before as well. This right wing more downforce than you have ever the ICJ, and it's hopefully also adjustable. Here we go Alto Medio And the brasso from there. And of course the best thing about this car, it's only done 87 by the way, it is actually road registered. That's right. It's gone through crash testing and everything. So, care and look inside because I have, in my back pocket, a key. [BLANK_AUDIO] There we go. [BLANK_AUDIO] In here, it's got the appearance of sort of being We're quite stripped down and so we're back to basics in some respects. And then you've got this huge screen here that's obviously on the centenario as well. Things like this fabric here and these door pulls. And obviously it's rather nice actually just to completely plain to a steering wheel. Which I rather like. They say it's more aggressive than the SVJ It's both in the way. It's got huge amounts of grip apparently. It's not [UNKNOWN] playful, but it's just got huge grip, and also in the throttle response, it's really, really aggressive. So yeah, should we start it up?
