We finally killed the Droid Turbo 2When a phone claims to be shatterproof, you know we're going to try to destroy it. Amazingly, the Droid Turbo 2 almost survived.
We punctured the battery it looks like. We're gonna need to put this on something. Oh, [BLEEP]! Oh [BLEEP]! Oh [BLEEP] somebody record that! Oh my god! We're gonna need to do something about this for safety, guys. Wait, wait, hold on! Don't touch it. Don't touch it. [MUSIC] Motorola says the Droid Turbo 2's screen is shatterproof. We've dropped it on asphalt and concrete without any problems so far. No big cracks here or there. Now we're going to try something a little more extreme. Here with me I've got my colleague Vanessa from CNET [FOREIGN] and we're going to put this to test. We are going use some tools and see if we can wreck this thing. Let me at him.>> X marks the spot. X marks the spot. One Two three. Oh. Oh yeah, just a bit of dust from the floor. Now we have a nice big toolbox here. Nice, big, metal toolbox. A bunch of stuff in it. Three, two, one, drop. Oh my, I can't watch. Three, two, one. And you Brian. Oh! See what we've got. Back right over it. That's fine. There's no cracks on the screen yet. I think we're going to have to try something a little more extreme. I'm impressed. Yeah. I know. Moment of truth. Shall we do this? Yeah. I may look scrawny, but I'm pretty strong. Let's try this. Let's see this. One. Two. Oh I think we got some damage. Still seems to work though. I mean, I think we can better than that. I think we're going to have to puncture it. And I have just the tool. Grand finale song, I'll get out of your way. [SOUND] Oh. [BLANK_AUDIO] Yeah we're not gonna be able to use Oh my gosh. We punctured the battery it looks like. We're gonna need to put this on something. Oh, [SOUND] I need to record that. Oh my god, wait, wait. We're gonna need to do something about this [INAUDIBLE] you guys. [CROSSTALK] Don't touch it. Dont's touch it. We're gonna need to get some kind of safety bag for that. [LAUGH] Oh, Jesus. Thank you. You're the best. So we may have just punctured the battery and set the phone on fire and had to use the fire extinguisher to make sure the rest of the building didn't catch on fire as well. But as long as you're not planning to do things that you really, really shouldn't do at home. I think you'll find the Droid's [UNKNOWN] to be a very Very durable phone [MUSIC]
