Vodafone Smart Ultra 6 packs 4G and a 5.5-inch display for £125
The latest mobile to push the boundaries of wallet friendly super size is this, the Smart Ultra 6, an ORun mobile from UK operator Vodafone.
With a 5.5 inch display and a 125 pound pay as you go price tag, it has our interest well and truly piqued.
The phone's 5.5 inch display has a 1920 by 1080 resolution.
Now that's not as many pixels as some high flying smart phones out there have but it's pretty good.
And we found that texts and icons are rendered with a really nice clarity.
The panel itself is bright and colorful too.
The Ultra 6 is powered by a [UNKNOWN] processor and has a 13 megapixel rear facing camera, and a 5 megapixel snapper on the front for video calls and selfies.
Now none of that is particularly exotic in this day and age but considering the price, that's a solid specification lineup.
It's running Android 5.0, also known as Lollipop.
Now, that means that you get access to loads of apps, and it's highly customizable.
Android can feel a little intimidating, though, if you're a first time user.
Happily, however, [UNKNOWN] has loaded on this smart tips application, which talks you through some of the more basic functions.
The smart ultra six makes a good first impression with a big colorful display, decent hardware and a relatively low price tag.
There's loads of competition out there, however so to check out loads more affordable smart phones, head to cnet.com.
