VirZoom is almost here: Come with us on a magic VR bike ride with flying horses and cowboysCan you get fit and have fun in VR at the same time? The VirZoom exercise bike tries to make it happen with race cars, puppies, battle tanks and Pegasus. Here's what the near-final version is like.
Why am I biking with a VR helmet on my head? Because this is Virzoom, an exercise bike designed for VR gaming, coming in June. For a cost around $400, Virzoom is a foldable, 38 pound exercise bike with it's own game controllers in the handles. It also tracks heart rate. Five games come with Virzoom at launch. From dog car racing to cowboy lassoing, two riding a giant flying horse with a promise of more every few months. Peddling moves faster, tilting steers. Presumable work on Oculus Rift, HTC Vive and Playstation VR. I broke a sweat. biking in VR is weird but that weirdness can be yours very soon.
