Hello gadget fans.
I'm Luke Westaway for CNET here at Mobile World Congress 2014 in Barcelona.
We're taking a look at the VBox TV Gateway.
It's some very interesting TV technology.
So, this is the TV Gateway box itself.
Now, if you look around the box, you see it's got a lot of inputs and what it does is it takes terrestrial, cable, satellite, free-to-air TV channels, basically everything that comes in,
it takes that and then it processes it, sends it to the router in your house and it makes all that TV accessible from any devices connected to your Wi-Fi.
It means you can be watching cable or satellite TV on your laptop, in a browser.
There's also smartphone and tablet apps for iOS and for Android, and there's a connected TV app as well.
As if that wasn't enough, it records as well.
Inside here, there is a 500-gigabyte hard drive.
It's on sale now in the UK, Germany,
France and Spain.
It costs 149 Euros.
VBox told me that it's gonna be coming out in the US in the second half of the year.
Would you put this thing in your house?
Let me know.
This is the VBox TV Gateway.
