>> Hi, I'm Jasmine France, associate editor for CNET.com and I'm here today with the Trek Store Vibes MP3 player. This is a German company. We actually haven't reviewed anything from them before. We've been pretty impressed with this player so far. It's actually a micro hard drive player which we haven't seen a lot of lately. But it has a pretty decent capacity range. Right now you can get an 8 gigabyte or a 12 gigabyte and they're even coming with a 15 gigabyte that should all be around this size. And the pricing is, is very good for the amount of memory you get. The 8 gigabyte is listed at 220 although I think you can find it for less than that online. And then the 12 is 240 and the 15 will come out at 260 dollars. So it's a pretty good deal as far as that goes. One thing that immediately stands out about this player is the kind of unique display that it has. It has the kind of figure 8 looking thing on the front here. And it has this scroll wheel that actually gives you tactile feedback. There's little clicking action going on here as I turn it. The other controls can be accessed by pressing down on certain parts of the scroll wheel. There's also a dedicated volume here on the side so if you're in another menu you can always adjust the volume. Like that a lot, very shiny backside here. All in all, a good looking player. The one complaint I would probably have is that the screen is pretty small. But it is a really nicely lit and bright crispy screen, so that's good. It does display photos. It also supports a lot of formats, we like that. It doesn't come with a, an FM tuner in it, but it does have an optional FM tuner card accessory. And it's actually this little tiny card that you can pick up for extra, I think it's about 15 dollars. And you have to pry off the back of the player and you stick it in under the battery. That was another kind of issue had is its really hard to get the back off. But other than that it's been a good player so far. It has good sound quality, got a nice feel to it. I'm Jasmine France and this has been the Trek Store Vibe.
