[MUSIC] After you've booked your airfare and secured your hotel, import your itinerary into GONNAGO, a free app for iPhone and Android users. Then push out all or some of the details to Facebook friends and Twitter followers to see if there's any overlap with their travel. Create circles of friends within the app to collect recommendations for places to visit, and make plans to meet up along the way. Trippy is a website that aims to provide reviews and recommendations in a casual, social way. Create a profile, ask a travel question, or answer someone else's. The social part comes in when you push those question and answers to your greater social network. You can also begin following users of Trippy if you find that you like their style and taste, creating a social network all of its own. And finally, if you just want to passively collect vacation recommendations from friends, you can now share your traveling to status on Facebook.
