Hey, I'm Donald Bell here at CES 2012 and I'm showing you the Toshiba Excite X10.
This is Toshiba's premium grade tablet that's coming out within the 1st quarter of 2012, priced at $529 for a 16 gigabyte version and $599 for a 32 gigabyte version.
What you're getting here is the thinnest, lightest honeycomb tablet that you can find.
This is .3 inches thick and just over a pound about 1.1 lbs.
So you're gonna get a light weight thin experience this.
You'll also gonna get the ability to upgrade this to Ice Cream Sandwich.
They're gonna do all the update for that.
So you got that coming if you invest in this...
in this current version.
I think they're planning to ship this with Ice Cream Sandwich when they come out...
You're getting a beautiful screen, you're getting a really thin design.
Last year they announced the Toshiba Thrive which was like a much thicker, heavy duty...
honeycomb tablet.
This is the opposite side of the spectrum.
You're still getting a ton of connectivity here.
You're getting the micro SD card slot, you're getting mini HDMI output, or micro HDMI output here...
micro USB connection, headphone out and you're gonna be able to also access the file manager that's built in Toshiba's tablets so that if you're really...
if you're really big into...
being able to see the file that you've got loaded onto your tablet, you can access those immediately.
You also have an up-scaling that allows you to load videos on here and see them in a better contrast, a better quality that you'd normally find on most tablets.
So that's the Toshiba Excite X10.
We're excited to see this in the 1st quarter of 2012.
