Tinder launched a group feature.
Tinder just introduced Tinder Social.
The feature let's Tinder users go out in large groups.
First, create your group.
Then, Tinder will show you other groups who are also down to go out.
To use Tinder Social, you have to unlock the feature.
When you do that, you'll see other friends that have unlocked the feature as well.
To set up a group adventure a person must choose who they're going out with.
You can specify a location and an activity.
The default activity is we're going out, but you can change it to things like starting a pub crawl or headed to the concert.
What if only part of your group wants to hang out with another group?
People can leave Tinder groups at any time.
Groups can coordinate plans by chatting with each other in a group chat.
Tinder says that matches and groups expire at noon the next day.
If you want to stay in contact with people you met using Tinder Social, you'll have to like each other in the app.
The feature was tested in Australia and is now available in Canada, India, New Zealand, the United Kingdom, and the United States.
Tinder Social is free, but could find a connection to Tinder's pay service, Tinder Plus.
Tinder's CEO told the BBC, over the coming months, we will clarify the relationship between the two products.
In general, Tinder is available in 196 countries, and the company says it's made over 10 billion total matches.
