This dancing robot will recognize your child's face

[MUSIC] Over the past couple of years, iBaby has cemented itself as one of the premier startups, making baby-related technology and specifically, smart video monitors. But now they're branching out with a device called Yobi. Yobi is a $400 smart robot. Now this thing isn't cheap, but it's a voice assistant that can control different smart home technology and has a camera built-in with face recognition. It has a lot of other really cool features to back it up. When it launches around the mid-point of 2017. The President of iBaby, Elnaz Sarraf, says that Yobi will be able to do things like monitor air quality, play music, pass on messages left for family members, set reminders and alarms, and check on the kids. What really remains to be seen with Yobi is what kind of personality it'll have. Because that's what distinguishes Alexa from Siri, from Google Assistant and so on I'd also like to see a little bit more development of kid facing features. But for now, I'm remaining reluctantly hopeful that this will be a good entry, in the emerging market of kid-oriented smart assistants.
