If you're in the market for a simple basic Top-Load washing machine that just does the job, and does it really well, then Kenmore $830 Top-Load 26132 is definitely the model for you.
So it has a 4.8 cubic foot capacity which.
Just enough to set all of your essential items.
It also got the best stain removal score of any top load washer we've tested to date that costs less than 1,000 bucks.
So in terms of value and overall cleaning power, this model is one I would definitely recommend.
Now, it doesn't have a lot of features.
You won't find steam functions or a transparent lid, which is stuff you'll see on pricier models.
But for 830, 80 bucks, and this one is currently on sale for 640.
It's a definite steal.
The one thing that I don't like about is that the digital readout on the display panel is a little small.
So from a distance, or from an angle, it's a little tough to see how much time is remaining on the cleaning cycle.
Overall, while the Kenmore 26132 isn't the fanciest model we've tested, it definitely wins in terms of price and performance.
