This is the Dyno smartwatch.
Now it may look like a toy, but that's because it wasn't meant for my wrist.
It was actually made for kids and it's pretty smart.
It's meant to keep kids safe and give parents a peace of mind.
Now we've seen a lot of wearables for kids out in the market right now.
But what's interesting about this product In particular is that cool pads the company that makes it claims that privacy is at the center both on the app and on the watch now, let's start with what the child sees.
So obviously they have a watch that tells the time they can customize different watch faces even add friends, but the parent has to approve now on the parents side.
They get a mobile app for either iOS or Android that allows.
Click to see the child's exact location or obviously call them or text message them.
They can also set safe perimeter zones, and it will alert them when the child steps out or comes back in to this safe zone that they have established.
Now, in the event of an emergency, the watch has an SOS button that the parent can program so that the child calls either the parent or 911 if something goes wrong.
The company claims that the watch has a battery life of about two and a half days, and it charges via micro USB over here on the side.
Now, it will be available starting January 28th, and will cost $149 plus $9.99 service fee for the 4G LTE.
