I'm here at CES taking a look at baby monitor with non contact video respiration detection.
If you're still there, I'll tell you what that means.
This baby monitor is going to watch your child and let you know if your child stops breathing.
They won't tell me how exactly it works, but you set this monitor up in the room with your child.
And then via the app, it's gonna track breathing patterns.
Not only are you gonna get and alert if your child stops breathing but you'll get to see over time when your child's breathing heavily, when you child is taking shallower breaths.
So you can learn a little bit more about those sleep patterns.
It's got night vision, motion detection, even without the breath monitoring it would stand as a pretty good connected camera.
With that feature [UNKNOWN] This this can really add to your peace of mind.
So we don't have any pricing information yet.
It's due out later this year and First Alert's actually seeking home kit compatibility for this, so it'll be able to interact with your larger Apple smart homes.
So yeah We're looking forward to seeing if the non contact video respiration on the one link by Fist Alert's baby monitor actually works.
