Hello everybody, I'm Lynn La for CNET, and right now we're going to check out the brand new Pebble Time Smartwatch.
This is Pebble's biggest redesign of its original smartwatch after its release of the Pebble steel.
Although the screen is the same size, the watch itself is smaller, lighter and 20 percent thinner and has a new metal frame.
The low powered Gorilla Glass display is also now colored.
And it's a reflective e-paper screen which makes it easily viewable outdoors.
The smart watch is still compatible with iOS and Android, and runs Pebble OS 3.0.
The OS is organized around your chronological schedule, you can access personal events, as well as relevant news catered to your interests, such as game scores and upcoming fights with these three buttons here that represent the past present and future.
The Pebble smart watch lasts up to seven days without a charge and is waterproof.
It's also equipped with a new microphone so you can record voice messages and dictate text and emails.
This device comes in three colors which interchangeable bands and is launch.
Exclusively on KickStarter.
Interested buyers can purchase it starting at $159.
And units ship out early May.
Again, I'm Lynn, and you've been checking out the PebbleTime Smart Watch.
