Welcome to the Buzz Report.
I'm Sarah Harbin, the producer for the show.
Molly Wood is out this week enjoying the beautiful waterfalls in California and Brian Cooley, her usual replacement, is homesick.
So, I'm gonna scribe together a show from some of my favorite clips from this year so far, enjoy.
The gadget of the week is the Nintendo Wii U, which maybe just me,
maybe you think a siren.
It's Nintendo's next generation console and even though we don't know a lot about the actual console, the controller is where it's really at.
Maybe you guys just roll some clips while I work on my tan.
In other news this week, Apple announced that Steve Jobs himself will be giving the keynote address at WWDC online showing off iCloud, Apple's upcoming cloud services offering.
And the great Apple-Samsung pissing contest of 2011,
Apple is saying that mean old Samsung is harassing them by asking for samples of its next generation iPhone and iPad products.
Neither of which has been announced.
It was ridiculous.
At one point, COO Tim cook said, "We were selling [unk] so fast we think we might have accidentally sold a couple Newtons." That's true.
That's a direct quote.
I'm not making that up.
Okay, I'm making that up, maybe little for me, maybe little more for me.
Okay, that's enough.
I'm drugged.
No, kidding.
Warner Brothers announced this week that it would sell streaming movies on Facebook.
The first movie to lunch will be the Dark Knight with more movies coming soon.
Rentals will cost about 3 dollars, but you have to pay on Facebook credits.
So, it will be about 30 Facebook credits.
Also this week, a new study finds that AT&T iPhone 4 owners have more dropped calls the Verizon iPhone 4 owners, which pardon my friend, but no sure lock.
Sorry to tell you Zune fans or fan, but Microsoft won't be releasing any new Zune models.
You think that thing would have been more popular consider you could share songs wirelessly from device to device with a feature called squirting.
Oh no, wait, you can totally see why it never got popular.
I other news this week, I would like to thank Cameron and Tyler Winkleboss for providing me with the steady stream of news I can't believe.
The Winkleboss boys as you recall were denied their grudge match against Facebook for the third time last month with the judge saying they would have to live with a 65 million dollar settlement from Facebook and also that the litigation just needs to stop.
The Winkleboss' claimed of course that CEO
Mark Zuckerberg stole their idea in creating Facebook, but despite 3 federal appeals courts telling them they have no case, the mockery of millions, and the fact their settlement is now worth about 100 million dollars, the Winkleboss has planned to take this case all they way to the US Supreme Court.
I mean, why not?
The Supreme Court has nothing better to do than indulge a couple rich white boys who had that one good idea that one time and apparently haven't had good ones since.
This looks like a little Joey pouch or can do my Napoleon.
Welcome to the Buzz Report [unk] Buzz Report, and finally this week, Charlie Sheen has jumped the shark, yet just that fast.
First, his new Twitter stream became the most annoying self promotional and self important Twitter stream of all time.
Then there was the super embarrassing bomb of the Ustream show called Sheen's-Korner and the there was the massive overuse of the word winning and the general overexposure.
Now, the internet worm has turned and there is even browser extension that lets you sensor all mention of Charlie Sheen.
Just goes to show bad, crazy only get you so far, Tiger blood or not.
This is the most fun you will have watching balls swinging back and forth.
