Maybe one safety team such destruction.
Disney Plus his biggest hit is The Mandalorian.
don't know anything about it.
Don't worry.
We've got you covered.
We're going to talk about minor spoilers.
so be warned minor spoilers are ahead.
Are you good?
Okay, so here we go.
The show is called The Mandalorian.
We follow a guy who is a Mandalorian and is played by Pedro Pascal.
If you wanna watch this show to see Pedro Pascal really emote, you're not really gonna get that.
The mask stays on also while people call him.
Mandou for short, Mandalorian is not his name.
However, we don't get his name until chapter eight.
So we'll skip that.
Here it is man.
No Boba Fett.
No Boba Fett is someone else.
They were similar armor though.
Then there's the child.
You might know him as baby Yoda.
So what's his deal?
Good question.
He looks like Yoda and is very young looking.
Does that mean he's a Jedi?
That'd be a spoiler right?
Does baby Yoda have a name?
Yes, but we don't find that out for a while either.
big spoiler ahead and you've been warned.
So Manda is a bounty hunter and he set after the child, but then Manor decides to take care of the child and get the child somewhere safe.
Then we follow them having wacky adventures around the galaxy.
Essentially the show is a Western if you wanted to show all about the force, this is not that show.
It's a dude in armor, getting into fights while protecting little baby.
That being said, there is plenty of fanservice on this show, you'll see some familiar places and faces.
When does the show take place?
It happens a few years after Return of the Jedi.
That means the Empire has already been overthrown, but still has a presence to Death Stars have been blown up, but the sequel trilogy has not happened yet.
Let's talk about production values.
This show looks great.
The visual effects house ILM put out a video showing how they make the show.
Instead of the green screens you've seen the movies before the Mandalorian takes advantage of a huge physical screen.
When the camera moves the background on the screen changes as it would, if it were really there.
This makes production quicker and it makes the show feel more real.
You've got reflections from the environment bouncing off of the characters.
It's quite amazing.
If you're really into effects, check out Disney gallery also in Disney plus it's an eight part documentary series looking at how the Mandalorian is made.
What else do you need to know?
It's a good show.
It's well written, it's well acted, it won seven Emmy Awards and was nominated for Outstanding drama series, losing out to succession on HBO.
You're all set.
Go watch the Mandalorian I'm as actor and I'll see you online.
